(Oral) The petitioner has filed the present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus and also claiming that the acquisition proceedings initiated by the respondents vide notifications dated 30.10.1992 and 28.10.1993, issued under Sections 4 and 6, respectively, of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (in short 'the Act') have lapsed under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for brevity 'the 2013 Act'). 2.
A perusal of the writ petition reveals that the petitioner had earlier filed a Contempt Petition No.75 of 2011 in Civil Appeal No. 5442 of 2000 before the Apex Court, which was dismissed as withdrawn on 08.04.2016 with liberty to the petitioner to move the State Government by filing appropriate representation. However, the petitioner has approached this Court without filing any such representation as stated in the aforesaid order of the Apex Court.

In view thereof, the present writ petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a detailed and comprehensive representation as noticed by the Apex Court before the appropriate authority, in accordance with law.
