***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Petitioners alleged that both of them are major and they got married on 17.10.2021 against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 10 who are rerlated to petitioner No.1.

In this petition, it is also stated that firstly petitioner No.1 was married to one Dharamveer son of Gheesa Ram, but he died on 29.7.2018. It is further stated that it is the first marriage of petitioner No.2. GAURAV SOROT 2021.10.19 14:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-10019-2021 Counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid private respondents have threatened to cause harm to both the petitioners and in this regard, representation (Annexure P-7) was given on 18.10.2021 to respondent No.2 but till date no action has been taken by the concerned authority in this regard.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Naveen Singh Panwar, DAG, notice on behalf of the State of Haryana. He submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of above, without going into merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider representation dated 18.10.2021 (Annexure P-7) and to provide appropriate protection to the petitioners if so warranted. However, any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion on the validity of the marriage of the petitioners.
