Present writ petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to pay interest on delayed payment of service benefits of deceased father to the petitioner, which is more than ten years. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that Deewan Chand, father of the petitioner, died on 27.08.2006 leaving behind petitioner and his sister being legal heirs. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contended that service benefits of deceased father of the petitioner have been released to him after long period of ten years, but no interest has been paid thereon. Learned counsel also submitted that petitioner made representation dated 14.08.2018 (Annexure P11), which is still pending with the respondents.
In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into representation dated DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2018.10.23 14:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
