Director, Secondary Education Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector-5, Panchkula, is ordered to be impleaded as the third respondent to the petitions.

CWP Nos.21611, 21656 & 21665 of 2024 [2] Main Cases This judgment shall decide aforementioned three petitions as they involve similar questions of law and facts. 2.
The petitions have been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the petitioners the benefit of notional pay fixation and seniority, already granted to newly appointed PGT Mathematics and Chemistry, with effect from 06.03.2019. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the third respondent. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case the third respondent is directed to decide their pending representations, dated 04.04.2024, in a specified period.

Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representations, dated 04.04.2024, will be decided by the third respondent expeditiously. 5.
In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent-Director, Secondary Education, to consider and decide the pending representations, dated 04.04.2024, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from receiving a certified copy of this order. 6.
In case the order is not passed within the stipulated period, the officer concerned shall pay costs of ` 50,000 to the petitioners.
