The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus/prohibition for the operation and implementation of orders dated 14.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) and dated 03.02.2026 (Annexure P-2) or in alternative, restraining the respondents from dispossessing the petitioner from the land in question during the pendency of revision petition and stay application dated 09.03.2026 (Annexure P-3), which is pending for 24.06.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order dated 14.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Assistant Collector 1st Grade, Jhajjar and order dated 03.02.2026 (Annexure P-2) passed by the Collector, Jhajjar, have been assailed by filing a revision petition along with an application for stay before the Divisional Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak. Learned counsel contends that the said revision petition and the NISHA 2026.06.03 18.33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-18875-2026 (2) interim stay application was instituted on 09.03.2026, however, till date, neither the revision petition has been taken up nor any stay order has been passed in the application.

Mr. P.K. Jhanda, Sr. DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 5/State. Learned State counsel is not in a position to deny that the stay application has not been dealt with by respondent No.2 till date despite the revision petition having been filed on 09.03.2026. 5.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Divisional Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak, to decide the stay application expeditiously and in accordance with law and till such time, status quo regarding possession shall be maintained. 6.
Disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
