Today Gurleen Kaur daughter of petitioner (Lovepreet Kaur) and respondent No.6 (Harjinder Singh), appeared in this Court along with her father (respondent No.6) through video conferencing. She is about 9 years of age and stated that presently she is studying in Dass Memorial School in village Kadgill, District Tarn Taran. The present petition has been filed by Lovepreet Kaur in nature of Habeas Corpus for release her daughter Gurleen Kaur from the illegal GAURAV SOROT 2022.03.17 16:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-10046-2021 detention of respondents No.6 to 12. During interaction with the said minor child it was found that Gurleen Kaur is living happily with her fatherHarjinder Singh. Faced with aforesaid situation, the counsel for the petitioner made prayer that the present petition be disposed of with direction to respondent No.6 to allow the petitioner to meet Gurleen Kaur as and when the petitioner is willing to meet her.

Even the counsel for respondent No.6 is not averse if any such direction is given.

In view of the matter, the present petition is hereby disposed of with the direction that the petitioner be allowed to meet her daughter Gurleen Kaur as and when she intends to do so. However, the same is subject to convenience and availability of Gurleen Kaur as well as her father-Harjinder Singh.
