**** SUDHIR MITTAL, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Harjinder Singh submits that total of 15 prosecution witnesses were cited. The evidence of 5 has been recorded and 9 have been given up. The examination-in-chief of the last witness has also been recorded and only cross-examination remains. For the said purpose, the case is fixed for 01.09.2021. The trial is thus almost complete. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to controvert the aforementioned submissions. He states that the trial Court may be directed to decide the pending trial within a limited time period.
The petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to pass a judgment within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
