Prayer made in the writ petition is for release of retiral benefits to the petitioner i.e. retirement gratuity, interest etc. as he retired from his service on 31.01.2008.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for this purpose, petitioner has got issued legal notice dated 31.08.2018 (Annexure P4), which was duly acknowledged by the respondents, but still no action has been take thereon.
