(Oral) In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the notifications dated 03.10.2006 (Annexure P-1) issued under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for brevity 'the Act'), dated 01.10.2007 (Annexure P-2) under Section 6 of the Act and award dated 30.09.2009, whereby the land of the petitioner was sought to be acquired.

On a query put to learned counsel for the petitioner as to how Section 24(2) of the of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 was applicable when the award was announced on 30.09.2009, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdrawn the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority/forum in terms of order dated 24.2.2015 (Annexure P-5) passed by the Apex Court.
