Vol-I, Part-I of Punjab Civil Service Rules, on getting promotion of SDO in the scale of 9300-34800 + 5200.

In this regard, he has given a legal notice dated 25.08.2015 (Annexure P-2) to the respondent(s) but no decision has been taken thereon.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states, that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied, if directions are issued to the respondent(s) to decide the legal notice dated 25.08.2015 (Annexure P-2), referred to above. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent(s) to decide the legal notice dated 25.08.2015 (Annexure P-2), by passing a speaking order, within a period of three months, in accordance with law.
