**** SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA , J. (Oral) 1.
It is an admitted position that earlier petitioner had filed writ petition i.e. CWP-15656-20242, wherein, vide order dated 22nd July, 2024 (Annexure P-12), we directed the petitioner to file revision/review petition and also directed the same to be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from that day.
2.
Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that on the said date itself, a separate notice for demanding the recovery of arrears of Excise revenue under Section 60 of the Punjab Excise Act, 2014, was issued. 3.
Learned Senior Counsel further submits that the petitioner is expecting for a fair hearing from the respondents, and the learned State counsel principally does not object to such proposal. JAWALA RAM 2024.08.01 17:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of above, we restrain the respondents from taking any proceedings further on the notice dated 22nd July, 2024 (Annexure P-10), and decide the revision/review petition, after affording the fair hearing to the petitioner.
The appropriate authority shall of course, pass a speaking order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in aforesaid terms. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. (SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA) JUDGE (SANJAY VASHISTH) JUDGE July 31, 2024 J.Ram Whether speaking/reasoned:
