In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to pre-maturely release him in light of the policy dated 12.04.2002 (Annexure P-1) of the State of Haryana and also in light of the judgment passed by this Court in CRWP No. 8232 of 2022 titled "Pohlu @ Polu Ram Vs. State of Haryana", decided on 05.02.2024 (Annexure P-4).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in light of the policy dated 12.04.2002 (Annexure P-1) of the State of Haryana and also in light of the judgment passed by this Court in Pohlu @ Polu Ram's case (supra), the petitioner is entitled for pre-mature release. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has also submitted a justice demand notice dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) for his pre-mature release.

CRWP-6781-2026 -2Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.1 to decide the demand notice dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and does not object to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the demand notice dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-3), submitted by the petitioner within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of accordingly.
