RAJESH BINDAL, J.(ORAL) Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 08.09.2017 passed by the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab exercising the power of Commissioner, whereby the appeal filed by the petitioner was dismissed as delayed by 282 days. It is not in dispute that against the order passed by the Director, remedy of revision is available before the Secretary of the Department concerned. Keeping in view the aforesaid fact, we relegate the petitioner to avail his alternative remedy against the order impugned in the present petition. The writ petition remained pending in this Court after having been filed on 28.11.2017. In case revision is filed on or before October 31, 2018, the same shall not be dismissed on the ground of delay only. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
