Concededly, petitioner has been granted L-2 and L-14A for the year 2025-2026 for retail sale of liquor etc., at village Khuda Ali Sher. The licence is expiring on 31.03.2026. By virtue of impugned order dated 12.06.2025 (Annexure P8), respondents have issued a demolition order under Section 12(2) of the Punjab New Capital (Periphery) Control Act, 1952 as petitioner has contravened the provisions of the statute.

As the licence period is expiring in a few day, petitioner is granted protection till 31.03.2026.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. 4.

As the main case has been decided, pending miscellaneous application(s) shall also stand disposed of.
