On 17.07.2025, following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned State counsel has filed the status report by way of affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad on behalf of the respondent-State in the Court today, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions.
Learned State counsel, while drawing the attention of this Court to the status report, has submitted that the petitioner, who was nominated as an accused in the disclosure statement of coaccused Pankaj, who along with the co-accused Mohit Chaudhary, had been operating and cheating people through online cricket gambling/betting; the petitioner and the co-accused Mohit Chaudhary had floated a bogus cricket gambling website i.e. BETKING24.COM (MP Group), through which a lot of monetary transactions qua cricket betting were carried out. On being pointedly asked as to whether the investigating agency had gathered any incriminating documentary evidence/material to link the petitioner with the said online cricket gambling website, learned State counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to Annexure P-3, and has submitted that a request has been sent to USA as the URL of the website in question was configured in USA. Adjourned to 30.09.2025.
Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) of BNSS, 2023." ( : #
