The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for issuance of directions to respondents no. 2 and 3 to take appropriate action against the private respondents, who are allegedly trying to cause harm to the life and liberty of the present petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, he would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda i.e. respondent no. 2, to look into the representation (Annexure P-2) and take a decision on the same. 3.

At this stage, Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda i.e. respondent no. 2 is directed to look into the representation (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner and take appropriate action thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of 08 weeks from the date of passing of this order. 7.
