(Oral) Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had made a representation to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to initiate action against the illegal operation of permit by respondent No.4 on Sardulgarh-Bathinda via RoriSurtia route without having any time table, as required under Section 72(2) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 but his representation is not being considered, as a result thereof, the petitioner had to file the present petition. The only prayer made by the petitioner is to direct Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Bathinda to decide his representation as early as possible.
Since the prayer made by the petitioner is found to be innocuous, therefore, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2016 (Annexure P-4) as early as possible, preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
