CWP No. 29045 of 2017
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CWP No. 29045 of 2017 Date of decision: 19.12.2017 Neeru ....Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Haryana and others
...Respondent(s)
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
Mr. Jagbir Malik, Advocate, for the petitioner.
G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks the benefit of allowing her to participate in the selection process for the post of PGT Mathematics. The claim is based on the ground that the petitioner had secured 84 marks in the general category as per the revised result of the screening test and since the last candidate called for interview in the general category against 624 posts has also secured the same marks. In view of the revised answer key having been put on public domain, the petitioner had filed an application dated 12.12.2017 allowing her to take part in the interview process (Annexure P20). During the course of arguments, however, it transpired that if the OMR answer sheet is now compared with the revised result which has been published (Annexure P-19), the petitioner is not making the cut since she has got only 82 marks and, therefore, the case which is based on the pleadings and the representation before the Commission that the petitioner had 84 marks is factually incorrect.

CWP No. 29045 of 2017 counsel fairly which he has categorically pointed out to this Court, the alleged cause of action which has arisen to the petitioner does not survive and, therefore, she cannot be given any benefit and the present writ petition is dismissed in limine.
