The prayer made in the present petition is for setting aside/ quashing the notice/announcement dated 14.07.2024, Annexure P-14. 2.

Learned counsel would contend that petitioner had applied, pursuant to advertisement No. 4/2018 published on 25.08.2018, for direct recruitment to Group-D posts and under the ESP General Category and obtained 19 marks. However as per the revised result, Annexure P-15, candidates who secured 9, 11 and 17 marks, respectively at Sr. No.34, 87 and 92, having lesser marks than her under the same category have been selected. In this regard, a representation dated 16.07.2024, Annexure P-16, has been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction be given to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time bound manner. 3.
