RAJIVE BHALLA, J (Oral) The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, setting aside warrants of possession, dated 29.04.2015 (Annexure P-7).
Counsel for the petitioner submits that as, admittedly, an appeal challenging the order of eviction, dated 10.04.2015, is pending adjudication before the Joint Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab, the enforcement of warrants of possession, may be stayed.
Counsel for the State of Punjab as well as counsel for the Gram Panchayat admit that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending adjudication before the Joint Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab.

Civil Writ Petition No.8749 of 2015 -2an appeal challenging order of eviction, dated 10.04.2015, is pending adjudication before the Joint Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab, dispose of the petition by directing parties to maintain status quo with respect to possession till the decision of the appeal, pending before the Joint Director, Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab, who shall decide the appeal within two months from the next date of hearing.
