ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.40 dated 14.04.2018 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Shri Hargobindpur Batala, Police District Batala, on the basis of the compromise arrived at between the parties.

On 12.02.2020, it was noticed that despite service, respondent No.2 has not appeared, which indicate that there is no compromise between the parties.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

Liberty is granted to file afresh petition, if the parties still acknowledge the compromise.
