(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.158 dated 8.7.2022 registered under Sections 323, 324, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 325, 326 IPC added later on vide DDR No. 58 dated 26.7.2022) at Police Station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. The counsel for the petitioner submits that only simple injury has been attributed to the petitioner and he has joined investigation with the police.

( 2 ) CRM-M-40689-2022 State counsel on instructions from ASI Nachattar Singh has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by counsel for the petitioner and submits that the recovery of weapon is effected from the petitioner and further submits that the petitioner is not required by police for further investigation or for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby allowed and order dated 7.9.2022 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner should abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
