Prayer made in the writ petition is for grant of regular pension, payment of gratuity and commutation of pension along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner retired from service on 30.09.2010, his provisional pension has already been released but his regular pension has not been released and even payment of gratuity has since not been released, although there is no disciplinary proceedings pending against him by now. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner has already made representation for release of the outstanding dues and for release of regular pension vide representation dated 05.04.2015 (Annexure P3) and recent reminder dated 10.02.2018 (Annexure P4), which remained unattended.

Civil Writ Petition No. 27372 of 2018 On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to her during the course of the day. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into representation dated 05.04.2015 (Annexure P3) and subsequent reminder dated 10.02.2018 (Annexure P4) and take the required decision thereon, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
