(ORAL) CM No.1144 of 2016 The application is to place on record the death certificate of the petitioner namely Baldev Singh son of Sahib Singh. The application is allowed. The death certificate of the petitioner is taken on record.

CWP No.8779 of 2015 The present writ petition is directed against the proceedings initiated against the petitioner, as Panch of Gram Panchayat Leppo, Block Guru Harsahai, District Ferozepur.

Since the office of the Panch is personal to the candidate, therefore, no cause of action survives to the legal heirs against the act of suspension of a Panch.
