Present writ petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant benefit of one premature/extra increment to the petitioners for not participating in the strike in the same terms as granted to the similarly situated employees by respondent No.2 vide order dated 01.03.2018 (Annexure P7) with all consequential benefits i.e. re-fixation of pay and release of revised pensionary benefits along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum for the delayed payment.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that for the redressal of their grievance, petitioners got issued legal notice dated 12.07.2018 (Annexure P9), which remained unattended with the respondents till date.
