The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.275, dated 02.9.2021, Police Station Ramnagar, District Karnal, under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter having been referred to Mediation Centre, the same has been amicably been resolved amongst the parties vide settlement deed dated 15.7.2022 MOHAN SINGH 2022.08.16 04:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-44874-2021 (O&M) and that out of the total settled amount of Rs.5.81 lakhs, the petitioner has already paid an amount of Rs.4 lakhs. 3.

It has also been submitted that all the accused shall shortly be filing a petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise, most probably within two weeks from today.

In view of the aforestated position the petition seeking grant of anticipatory bail is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 22.11.2021 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
