Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to step up the pay of petitioner being senior general category employee at par with respondent No.4-Mohinder Singh, who was junior to him, in view of the instructions dated 14.10.1999 (Annexure P1), dated 27.11.2006 (Annexure P2) and dated 05.03.2009 (Annexure P3). The claim of the petitioner was accepted vide order dated 07.03.2017 (Annexure P8), but the consequential benefits accrued to him have not been released even after lapse of more than one year.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner got issued legal notice dated 22.12.2016 (Annexure P6) and subsequent reminder thereto dated 29.03.2018 (Annexure P10), but so far no action has been taken thereon.
