This Writ Petition Under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of directions to official respondents to take immediate requisite action against the private respondents, who are indulging in blatant and unauthorized illegal mining at the village common land situated in Khasra No.2//16, 2//17, 2//24, 2//25 and 8//5, Gram Panchayat Village Dera Mir, Block Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib. 2.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied, in case a direction is issued to respondents/competent authority to decide the representations dated 21.05.2026 (Annexures P-2 and P-3) within a time bound manner.
