CWP No. 8045 of 2016 It is pointed out that against two vacancies which are arising for the post of Chief Engineer, name of one person i.e. Arvinder Singh, Superintending Engineer (Civil) has been approved. However, the State is yet to fill up the second vacancy also which is going to arise on 01.06.2016. A perusal of the record would go on to show that the State is taking a legal opinion and the issue is pending consideration for filling up the second vacancy.

Let the needful be done within a period of two weeks and the decision taken be conveyed to the affected parties. With the above said observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
