The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a direction to respondents No. 2 to 4 to save the petitioner from victimization and harassment which is caused by respondents No. 5 to 8. Notice served upon the official respondents No. 1 to 4 through the State's counsel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case directions be issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the representation dated 26.08.2022 (Annexure P-5) within the time bound manner.

The prayer being innocuous is not opposed by the learned State counsel. Given above, respondent No. 2-Director General of Police, Punjab, Sector-9, Chandigarh himself or by authorizing any officer of IPS rank to decide the representation dated 26.08.2022 (Annexure P-5) by passing a speaking and reasoned order within thirty working days from today. The outcome of the representation be sent to the petitioner without any delay.

In case, the grievance of the petitioner still exists, he shall be at liberty to avail legal remedy in accordance with law including approaching this Court. This order shall come into the force only from the date copy of the petition supplied to the State and in case copy is not supplied within one month, then this order shall stand automatically recalled without any further reference to this Court. Petition is allowed to the extent above. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
