*** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J. (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing the official respondents to to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 & 5.

Learned State counsel assures the Court that the representation dated 01.06.2026 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners shall be decided within a period of three days in the light of the notification No.HOME-HM-40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch).

In view of the above, the instant petition stands disposed of. 5.
