Petitioner is stated to have been engaged as part time Sweeper since 14.7.1987 and was being paid out of private funds. Later on since 15.1.1990 she was brought on Government roll and was being paid from Government Treasury. Presently,she is working as such at Govt.Elementary School, Sansi Vehra, Amloh, Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib. She has filed the instant petition seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 16.3.2015(P-8) vide which her claim for regularization has been rejected as also the order dated 8.12.2014(P-5) vide which her junior-respondent no.5 is stated to have been regularized.

Upon notice, short reply by way of affidavit dated 25.8.2015 has been filed by Jaswant Kaur, District Education Officer (SE)Fatehgarh Sahib stating therein that in compliance of the directions of this Court in CWP 13565/1997, State of Punjab vide letter dated 4.3.1999 formulated policy regarding regularization of part time Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.05.11 15:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP 8953/2015 workers who have worked for 10 years or more. It is further stated that in terms of said policy dated 4.3.1999, services of petitioner have been regularized vide order dated 26.6.2015 and she joined as such on 2.7.2015. A copy of her joining report is Annexed as Annexure R-I with the short reply.

At the time of hearing none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the reply filed by respondents, it is apparent that the instant writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
