Ms. Harpriya Khaneka, Advocate for respondent No.2. **** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today. Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the action of the respondents, vide which the petitioner has not been declared as qualified for the post of Lecturer in Civil Engineering, despite being duly eligible under the Dependent of Freedom Fighter (Category General).

As per the contents of the petition, against advertisement No.11/2021, the petitioner had applied for the post of Lecturer in Civil Engineering, under Dependent of Freedom Fighter (Category General) and the said fact was duly mentioned in the application form. Vide order dated 06.09.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the respondents were directed to provisionally interview the petitioner and the result was directed not to be declared without there being a specific order to the said effect.

CWP-20123-2022 (O&M) -2In compliance of the order dated 09.05.2023 passed by this Court, learned counsel for respondent No.2 has produced the result of the petitioner in a sealed cover, duly forwarded by the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission.

On the asking of this Court, the same has been opened by the Bench Secretary.

Result seen and perused.

As per the result, the last selected candidate under the General Category has secured 72.71 marks and the petitioner does not fall under the zone of consideration.

In view of the above, no further orders are called for. Dismissed.

Result is again re-sealed and handed over to learned counsel for respondent No.2.
