Learned State counsel seeks to place on record reply by way of counter affidavit of Karamjit Singh, Deputy Director, Education Recruitment Directorate, Department of School Education, Punjab, SAS Nagar Mohali. Para 5 thereof reads as under:- "5. That the Office of State Council for Education, Research and Training (S.C.E.R.T.) conducts the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (P.S.T.E..T). The petitioner in his application has applied for the post as having passed Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2 with 90 marks. However, S.C.E.R.T. in its result uploaded on website on 25.10.2017 has declared the petitioner as disqualified having secured 85 marks in P.S.T.E.T-2. Hence the petitioner applied for the post by uploading wrong/incorrect particulars." In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition.
