Grievance of the petitioner is that illegal encroachment carried out by respondent No.8 over the public passage(Rasta-sare-aam) comprised in Khasra No.80/2 which vests in Gram Panchayat village Sherpur, Gurugram, has not been removed despite ejectment proceedings against respondent No.8 having attained finality with order dated 15.01.2020 passed in CWP No.26260 of 2019 filed by respondent No.8 Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Mr.Narinder Suman, BDPO, Gurugram, submits that necessary action is being taken for removal of encroachment by respondent No.8 and police help as sought, has been provided for 22.12.2022 for necessary action. It is assured that necessary action shall be taken in this regard for handing over possession of the land in question to the Gram Panchayat.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above, let needful be done in terms of the statement made before us today. No further orders are called for in this writ petition at this stage. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
