Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that son of the petitioner is minor and has been falsely implicated in this case. He has moved representation before the Chief Minister, Punjab to this effect, copy of which was sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar and other police authorities.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondents to look into the representation of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to son of the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
