CWP No.8190 of 2016 [2] The petitioner is a resident of Ward No.21, Adarah Gali, New Colony, Kurukshetra. He alleges that more than 200 bogus voters have been included in the voter list of Ward No.21 as all those persons are neither residents of the Sector nor have requisite proof for inclusion in the voter list. The petitioner is said to have submitted representations followed by reminder dated 11.02.2016 against the above-stated voter list but finding no action in response thereto, the instant writ petition has been filed.

Having regard to the petitioner's allegations of inclusion of large scale bogus voters in the voter list, we dispose of this writ petition without expressing any views on merits, with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra to call for the records and verify the petitioner's assertions. If there is any substance in the allegations, the State Government as well as the State Election Commission, Haryana are directed to carry out necessary correction before the elections of Municipal Council, Kurukshetra are held. Ordered accordingly.

Dasti.
