*** JASWANT SINGH, J.(ORAL) The suspended Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Kachhwan Block Bhunerheri, District Patiala is in writ jurisdiction challenging the order dated 02.02.2015 (P-4) passed by the Director, Panchayats, Punjab and the order dated 08.04.2015 passed by the Appellate Authority whereby he has been suspended only on ground that he had not cooperated with the Annual Audit Team regarding the funds of the Gram Panchayat and, therefore, misused his office.

Pursuant to the directions given by this Court, the Audit of the Gram Panchayat with the cooperation of the present Sarpanch has since been conducted, therefore, it is conceded that the basis for suspension has been removed.

Since the basis has been removed both the impugned orders (P4) and (P-6) are liable to be set aside with the liberty to the competent Authorities to take further action, if need be, in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.

Petition stands disposed of.
