The present Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.4 to 6 for updating the revenue record while incorporating the entries on the basis of certain orders/judgments.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the fact that till date no representation as regards the prayer made in the instant Writ Petition has been made to the learned District Collector, Bathinda. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant Writ Petition with liberty to file a detailed representation before the learned District Collector, Bathinda highlighting his grievance, however, he further HIMANI GUPTA 2024.08.02 14:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

CWP-18174-2024 -2submits that the time bound directions be issued for deciding the said representation.

In view of the above, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, the petitioner would be at liberty to submit a detailed representation highlighting his grievance before the learned Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed within the aforesaid period, learned Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda shall look into and decide the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of said representation to be submitted by the petitioner.
