In compliance of order dated 06.08.2023, respondent No. 2 is present in Court and has submitted the reasons for delay in release of the detenue-Vikas Kumar from the jail, which occurred due to non-mentioning of a section which was initially mentioned in the FIR but the challan was not presented as the same was dropped before the Court below. 2.

In light of the unconditional apology tendered by respondent No. 2 and the fact that the detenue has been released, therefore, nothing survives in the present petition.
