Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to look into the representation (Annexure P5) and its reminder (Annexure P6), respectively, made to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, for providing protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner, who is complainant in case FIR No. 51 dated 04.05.2019, registered under Sections 294, 323, 324, 506, 427, 148 & 149 IPC and another FIR No. 50 dated 02.05.2019, registered under Sections 379-B(2), 323, 506, 148 & 149 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 (lodged by Ram Shankar, husband of the petitioner) at Police Station Daba, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that accused persons in the above noted FIRs had caused grievous injuries as are evident from the photographs, available on the file. Learned counsel further contended that respondent No. 4-Sandeep Shukla is threatening the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2019.09.05 15:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Criminal Misc. No. M-37459 of 2019 petitioner to withdraw the above said cases and to enter into compromise to which she is not agree.

In view of above, present petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation (Annexure P5) and its reminder (Annexure P6), respectively, and take the required action thereon, if any, as per law. Respondent No.2 Shall ensure that protection is provided to the petitioner, if so required in the matter.
