    **** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.227 dated 26.06.2020 under Sections 406 and 420 IPC and Section 24 of the Immigration Act, 1983, at Police Station Karnal, Civil Lines, District Karnal along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 23.11.2020 (Annexure P-2), arrived at between the parties.

Vide order dated 27.01.2021 passed by this Court, the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate had been directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and authenticity of the compromise.

In compliance thereof, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Karnal, has submitted a report, vide letter dated 21.05.2022, which AMAN JAIN 2022.09.01 17:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-40439-2020 (O&M) -2indicates that only the accused persons have appeared before the Magistrate for recording their statements but complainant did not appear. It has further been mentioned in the report that the complainant seems not interested in appearing before the Court to suffer his statement with regard to the compromise.

Since, the complainant had not appeared before the Court concerned for recording his statement with regard to the compromise (the very basis of the present petition), no further orders can be passed in the present petition.

Dismissed.
