Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners shall be satisfied if their plea to consider their cases under the Old Pension Scheme, as they have applied on compassionate ground under the 1996 Policy, is considered by the State Government. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Anu Chatrath, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. She at the outset, on instructions from Mr. Subhash Kumar, HC O/o DGP, Punjab, who is present in court, submits that though at the time of application filed by the petitioners new pension scheme was applicable yet the matter shall be considered by the competent authority and a speaking order shall be passed within three months.
