MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of the private respondents.

Learned counsel contends that respondent No.4, who is the husband of petitioner No.1, is a police employee and as a result of which despite repeated representations having been made to the authorities concerned, the matter is not being looked into. Submits that a representation dated 08.11.2020 was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, in the said regard. However, till date no action has been taken on the representation and the petitioners continue to face threat at the hands of the private respondents.
