(Oral) In the instant petition, petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to maintain adequate security in the village Gawalra Tehsil Israna, District Panipat till date of announcement of result of Gram Panchayat Elections of village Gawalra on the ground that the petitioner remained as Panch of Gram Panchayat Gawalra, Tehsil Israna, District Panipat and his wife remained as Sarpanch of the above said village from January, 2016 till February 2021. During his tenure as Panch, the petitioner with the help of Panchayat members got released around 600-700 acres of land from the illegal occupants.

In this regard, petitioner has given representation (P-3 to P-5) but no action has been taken till date.

Issue notice of motion On asking of the Court, Mr. Ankur Mittal, Addl.A.G, Haryana with Mr. Saurabh Mago, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of by giving direction to the respondent-State to decide representation (P-3 to P-5) submitted by the petitioner.
