Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of Short Reply by way of affidavit dated 03/05.07.2019 wherein it is stated that all consequential benefits as per entitlement of the petitioner have been released, this writ petition is rendered infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though benefits were indeed released, however, subsequent notice has been issued to the petitioner in this respect. Litigation qua the same is pending. Be that as it may, present writ petition is indeed rendered infructuous.
Accordingly, present petition is disposed of as infructuous. Petitioner is at liberty to pursue the pending litigation as has been stated above. It is clarified that there is no expression of opinion on the merits of the matter.
