***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ in the nature mandamus, directing the official respondents to step up the pay and all the consequential benefits like seniority, pay etc. to bring it at par with their juniors who were promoted on 01.01.1994, 01.01.1997 and 01.01.1998 on the basis of accelerated promotion being from reserved category and since the petitioners, who were senior to them has been promoted in the year 2010-2011. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide legal notice dated 01.12.2017 (Annexure P-6), within a stipulated period. 3.
