Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have filed two complaints against respondent No.5, which are pending before Judicial Magistrate, Dasuya. Respondent No.5 in connivance with respondent No.4 is threatening and pressurising the petitioners to withdraw that complaints. A representation (Annexure P-7) was sent to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala but no action has been taken. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to look into the grievance of petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law on receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law, ( SURINDER GUPTA ) August 27, 2019.
