RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J (ORAL) The petitioner, a Sarpanch of Village Daun, District SAS Nagar, has assailed the order of his suspension dated 20.11.2017. Concededly, the impugned order is appealable in terms of Section 20(6) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (for short "the Act"). The petitioner has averred in the writ petition that though the appeal was filed but it was not entertained by the Appellate Authority. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority, who has to entertain the appeal filed against the impugned order to take the appeal and decide it as early as possible, in accordance with law.
