Mr.Rajesh Lamba, Advocate for the petitioner. **** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the petitioner had qualified the departmental examination, he was not promoted with effect from 13.09.2019, although several similarly situated persons including his juniors had been promoted with effect from that date. The petitioner was promoted subsequently on 27.11.2019, which has jeopardise his seniority. He further contends that the petitioner has sent a representation (Annexure P-18) to respondent No.2 in this regard and he would be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexures P-18) in accordance with law. Issue notice to respondents.
At the asking of the Court, Mr. Anant Kataria, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexures P-18) in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
